It starts with a custom consultation that takes your personal goals and lifestyle into consideration and includes a full assessment to fix any coloring mistakes that have been done previously.

Kelsey Morey

  • Founder and Chief Creative Officer

    Kelsey Morey is a professional hair and makeup artist, model, and the owner and founder of Haus of Pretty, a salon based in Westport, Connecticut. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in balayage, hair care, color correction, and photoshoot styling.

    Education and Training:

    • Attended Coastal Carolina University and Brio Academy of Fairfield, Connecticut. She is currently studying with ROLFS Global Institute by L’OREAL towards a science degree focused in beauty and wellness.

    • Graduated in 2011 and began her professional beauty career with an apprenticeship in Greenwich, Connecticut, and New York City, learning from seasoned experts and catering to high-profile clientele.

    Professional Experience:

    • Worked within LVMH companies and a Fairfield County hedge fund, gaining diverse industry experience.

    • Extensive experience in modeling and styling for photoshoots in New York City, Los Angeles, and Fairfield County, with a strong background in production work.

    Artistic Background:

    • Possesses a strong visual arts background, including painting, sculpting, and drawing, which enhances her unique style in balayage, hair color, and makeup design.

    • Serves as a board member for the JDRF Westchester Chapter Catwalk Fashion Show and advocates for the JDRF - Type 1 Diabetes Research Foundation, now known as Breakthrough T1D.

Jen graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy with a focus in Balayage techniques. At Haus of Pretty, she completed her Apprenticeship with Kelsey, along with intensive Balayage and Color Corrective training.

A beauty service with Jen is where you can see her unique personality and talent shine. She is a great listener, kind, and always brings a positive attitude to the session. Jen is truly an asset to our team.

Jen is an avid learner- she often goes beyond what is required of her and spends her free time finding new techniques, new trends and color palette inspiration.

Like the rest of the team here, she is pink obsessed, and loves making clients look and feel amazing!
